Long lines of cars wrapping around the corner of Garfield and Atlantic Blvd are a familiar sight outside of Alhambra’s only In-N-Out. A new sight will be their iconic crossed palm trees installed just this month, marking significant progress towards the reopening.

Alhambra’s city website explains what improvements are anticipated on the site, which include a refurbished interior featuring curved wall seating, as well as an updated trash enclosure. In-N-Out marketing communications specialist Patty Peña explained that customers can expect to see improvements made to both the parking lot area and the drive-through, which will ease the flow of traffic.
Originally opened in 1997, the Alhambra In-N-Out renovation project was estimated to take ten months to complete, with February 2026 initially set as the target date for reopening. As the community watches progress being made, the grand opening might come earlier than that!
