Alhambra is an ice cream city! It’s been hot this summer in Alhambra, and there’s no better way to beat the heat than to celebrate National Ice Cream day with your friends this Sunday. In a city renowned for its dining cuisine, it’s little surprise to many that there is a vast variety of high quality ice cream spots for you to try out.

This weekend, crowds lined the streets of Alhambra to experience the long-awaited collaboration between Alhambra favorite Sam Woo BBQ and Chef Roy Choi’s globally recognized Kogi BBQ. Guests eagerly waited to try two limited-edition fusion creations available only during the two-day event: Roast Duck Kimchi Tacos and Char Siu Blackjack Quesadillas.

Early Monday morning on June 22, starting at 3 AM, Alhambra residents and visitors lined up at 146 S. Palm Ave for their “One Love” — fried chicken from Raising Cane’s. With its new location near the intersection of S. Palm Ave and W. Commonwealth Ave, the Raising Cane’s team is committed to continuing to bring the quality the brand has become known for to the city.

The City of Alhambra is delighted to welcome back the annual Concerts and Movies in the Park series, bringing music, film, and unforgettable summer fun to the community! Throughout the months of July and August, guests can come to Alhambra Park to enjoy free entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights, adding exciting evenings to anyone’s summer memories.
