Get ready, Alhambra! The beloved Main Street Market is shaking things up this summer with later hours and vibrant community themes designed to bring everyone together. Starting now, we’re moving our hours to 3 pm to 8 pm every month, offering a perfect opportunity to beat the heat and enjoy the cooler evening air. It’s the ideal way for families, friends, and neighbors to unwind after work or school while soaking in the local spirit. Come fall, we’ll return to our original 11 am to 4 pm schedule, but for now, let’s make the most of those glorious summer evenings!
A key part of what makes our market special is our vendors, many of whom are small businesses located right here in Alhambra and the surrounding San Gabriel Valley. Every month, you’ll find unique handmade crafts, delicious local foods, and specialty items from our talented community entrepreneurs, supporting local economy and creating a truly authentic neighborhood experience.
Each month, our market transforms with a new theme to keep the community involved and excited. June kicks things off with “80’s Day,” where everyone can show off their best retro looks, dance to classic hits, and relive the decade of big hair and bold fashion. July takes us into the vibrant world of “KPOP – Asian Pop Night,” celebrating the hottest music and culture from Korea and beyond. August features “90’s Day,” promising a trip down memory lane with throwback tunes, clothing, and fun nostalgia. September switches gears to “Y2K Day,” embracing the early 2000s with tech, fashion, and music from that exciting era.
Halloween fans won’t want to miss October’s spooky “Halloween Month,” featuring costume contests, treats, and haunted surprises. November will highlight the best of Downtown Alhambra, celebrating local businesses, artisans, and community champions at “Best of Downtown” Day. Finally, December will transform the market into a “Winter Wonderland,” filled with holiday cheer, festive decorations, and seasonal treats that bring the spirit of the holidays alive.
