City of Alhambra to Host Fiesta Alhambra in Celebration of Latino Heritage Month

    The City of Alhambra invites the community to join Fiesta Alhambra on Sunday, September 21, from 9 AM to 1 PM, a vibrant celebration in recognition of Latino Heritage Month. This annual event will be held alongside the Certified Farmers Market in Downtown Alhambra (100 S.       In-N-Out Makes Progress in Renovations

      Long lines of cars wrapping around the corner of Garfield and Atlantic Blvd are a familiar sight outside of Alhambra’s only In-N-Out. The waiting time for these famous burgers, fries, and shakes will hopefully be alleviated when the restaurant’s current renovation and parking lot expansion are complete. A new sight will be their iconic crossed palm trees installed just this month, marking significant progress towards the reopening.

        The Future of the Past: Alhambra’s Final Historic Preservation Ordinance Vote on Aug. 25, 2025

        On August 25, 2025, Alhambra’s City Council will hold a public hearing on the Historic Preservation Ordinance for final approval and adoption. If adopted, this ordinance, created by the City and the Historic Resources Group, will establish a formal process for identifying and reviewing historically significant commercial properties in the city.
