Alhambra Unified School District is pleased to introduce the students elected to serve on the 2026–2027 Student Advisory Council (SAC). Representing each grade level from Alhambra High School, Mark Keppel High School, and San Gabriel High School, these 12 student leaders will work closely with district administrators and the Board of Education to provide student perspectives on issues affecting schools and the broader AUSD community.
Returning SAC members for the 2026–2027 school year are Leslie Chu, Cesar Garcia, Flora Hinojosa, Emily Huang, Isabella Majeau, Kevin Tang, and Angelina Yip. Joining them as new SAC members this year are Nathaniel (Nathan) Cheung, Lillyana (Lilly) Ganir, Stephanie Moxo, Julie Ortiz, and Alexia Ruiz.
Throughout the year, SAC members will represent the voices of their peers, provide feedback on district initiatives, and collaborate on projects designed to enhance the student experience across AUSD. The council will also elect one of its members to serve as the district’s Student Board Member, providing a direct student voice at Board of Education meetings and leading SAC’s monthly meetings as its chairperson.
