Alhambra Unified School District is encouraging all families to help secure important federal funding for local schools by completing the Alternative Income Form (AIF). This simple form collects basic household income information and plays a vital role in determining how much federal support the district receives each year.
Filling out the AIF annually helps ensure AUSD schools receive the maximum funding available for academic programs, student services, and classroom resources. All families are asked to complete the form—regardless of income level. It only takes a few minutes, and every submission makes a difference.
Parents and guardians can complete the AIF through the AUSD Parent Portal at https://ps.ausd.us when making their annual updates. Once logged in, click on “Forms” and select “Alternate Income Form.” If the AIF is not visible, it has already been submitted for the current school year.
In addition to supporting school funding, submitting the AIF may also qualify families for added benefits such as Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), reduced fees for AP testing, college application fee waivers, and discounts on household utility bills.
