Staying Connected in Alhambra Just Got Easier with Free Wi-Fi in Local Parks

The City of Alhambra is proud to announce the launch of free, high-speed public Wi-Fi at all five Alhambra Parks and the Joslyn Center, bridging the digital divide and enhancing connectivity across the community.
As part of the City Council’s Strategic Plan to improve local infrastructure, free public Wi-Fi will now be available during regular park hours at Alhambra Park, Almansor Park, Emery Park, Granada Park,
Story Park, and the Joslyn Center.
This project was made possible through funding from the 2023 State Budget Act and the Office of Assemblymember Mike Fong.
“With so many everyday tasks requiring internet access, providing free public Wi-Fi is an important step in making sure our community stays connected,” said Mayor Jeff Maloney. “Whether it’s a family signing up for a recreation class, a senior scheduling a ride to a doctor’s appointment, or a student working on homework, this access helps remove barriers to getting online. We’re grateful to partner with Assemblymember Fong to bring this resource to our residents and continue building a more connected Alhambra.”
