The 12th Annual Alhambra Pumpkin Run and Halloween Festival returns to Downtown Alhambra on Sunday, October 26, presented by Wondries Toyota and the Downtown Alhambra Business Association. This signature community event blends fun, fitness, and philanthropy with proceeds benefiting the Alhambra Educational Foundation (AEF) to support essential programs in local schools.
Participants of all ages are invited to register for the 10K, 5K, 1K or the Kiddie Run. The race route winds through Main Street, offering a festive and family-friendly way to experience Alhambra alongside neighbors and friends.
Following the races, the celebration continues with a free outdoor concert featuring Thieves Like Us Band at 9:30 a.m. on the main stage in front of Alhambra High School on 2nd Street. Runners and spectators can also stroll through the Alhambra Certified Farmers Market, which will be open with fresh produce, seasonal treats, and more than 100 local vendors to enjoy after the finish line. Adults can also relax in the Beer Garden, sponsored by Ohana Brewing Co., while enjoying the band and entertainment.
The Kids Zone, presented by Sky Zone Alhambra, will offer engaging activities for children of all ages. The Kids Halloween Costume Contest kicks off at 11:30 a.m., followed by trick-or-treating along Main Street from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., where local businesses will be handing out candy and treats. Free registration will be open for the costume contest at www.downtownalhambra.com.
Main Street Market will be hosting a special market this day from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m at the Renaissance Plaza on the corner of Main Street and Garfield Ave. The market will showcase artisan vendors, and handmade goods, creating the perfect spot to explore after the race festivities and during trick-or-treating.

The 12th Annual Alhambra Pumpkin Run will take place on Sunday, October 26, 2025. The run will begin at 7:45 a.m. respectively, and transgress through Main Street and other side streets.
ROAD CLOSURES:
On Oct. 25, from 7 p.m. to Oct. 26 at 12 p.m., ALL of the streets within the race zone will be CLOSED TO TRAFFIC.
The following streets will be closed during the race:
- Main St: Atlantic Ave to Vega St (No Cross traffic will be permitted)
- Garfield Ave: Commonwealth Ave to Woodward Ave
Overnight parking restrictions will be relaxed from Oct. 25 through Oct. 26, 2025, from Granada to El Molino, and from Main St. to Commonwealth. If you require vehicle access during this time, please arrange to park on an adjacent unaffected street.
