Art aficionados have the opportunity to experience the creative expressions of young artists at Unraveling the Soul, an art exhibition presented by Mark Keppel High School artists in collaboration with Therapicasso. Hosted at Blossom Market Hall in San Gabriel, the exhibit will be open through June 15, offering visitors a chance to view the artistic abilities of these talented students.
The exhibition, which launched with an opening night reception on March 21, highlights a diverse collection of works that explore self-expression, emotion, and personal storytelling. Through various art mediums, students have poured their creativity into pieces that reflect their perspectives on identity, mental health, and the human experience.
Therapicasso, a non-profit organization dedicated to using art as a tool for healing and personal growth, was founded by Mark Keppel students Joshua Ferriere and Gabby Wong. They partnered with Alhambra Unified School District art teacher Jenny Tang and her students to provide a platform for the young artists to share their talents with the community. The result is a powerful and thought-provoking collection that invites viewers to engage with the deeper themes behind each artwork.
Blossom Market Hall offers a unique setting where visitors can enjoy the artwork upstairs while also exploring the diverse food options from a variety of vendors downstairs. The food court offerings provide the perfect complement to an afternoon or evening of art appreciation. Make it a full experience by grabbing a bite to eat before or after your visit.
