The Alhambra Fire Department will host its annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 9 a.m. at Fire Station 71 (301 N. 1st Street) to honor the first responders and civilians who lost their lives during the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
“Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the lives lost and the extraordinary bravery demonstrated on September 11,” said Alhambra Mayor Adele Andrade-Stadler. “As we gather together, we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, support the families whose lives were forever changed, and reflect on the strength and compassion that unite our communities.”
The ceremony will feature posting of colors by the Alhambra Police Department Honor Guard, Invocation, and Tolling of the Bell. Members of the public are invited to attend. Registration is not required.
