Restaurant of the Week (1/5-1/11) Boat House

Boat House Alhambra was originally founded in 2008 and later acquired by its current owner, Jacky, in 2020, who has continued the restaurant’s legacy of serving the seafood boils that longtime patrons know and love. Since the transition, the team has remained committed to preserving the flavors and quality that made Boat House a local favorite, ensuring that guests can still enjoy the same delicious menu that has been served for more than a decade and a half.

As one of the few Cajun and Creole restaurants in Alhambra, Boat House specializes in fresh seafood prepared in bold, satisfying flavors. At the heart of the menu is the restaurant’s signature “Special House Sauce,” a rich, savory blend that has become an all-time favorite in the area. Whether paired with shrimp, crab, clams, mussels, or other seafood, the sauce coats every bite with a perfect balance of spice, butteriness, and Cajun seasoning, making each dish both comforting and crave-worthy.

In addition to its classic Cajun-style boiled seafood, Boat House also offers a variety of fried favorites, providing something for every seafood lover. From crispy fried shrimp and calamari to hearty seafood platters, the menu showcases a range of textures and flavors that complement the restaurant’s bold seasonings. Guests can also look forward to seasonal offerings, including live crawfish and king crab, which draw both regulars and newcomers eager to enjoy these special items when they’re available.
