Restaurant of the Week (06/02-06/08): The Wild Whisk Bakery

Alhambra just got a little sweeter! The Wild Whisk Bakery, a charming new pastry shop that opened its doors in April this year, is already turning heads—and tempting taste buds—along W Valley Blvd. Tucked into the former Shredded Carrot location, this welcoming spot with its cute, family-friendly décor is the passion project of husband-and-wife duo Tracy and Francisco, who bring together the laid-back island flavors of Hawaii with the bold, eclectic tastes of Los Angeles.

Visitors to The Wild Whisk Bakery can indulge in a rotating menu of irresistible treats, from chewy Hawaiian butter mochi to rich brown butter chocolate chip cookies. Their Hawaiian Chex Mix is already famous—a sweet-and-salty snack medley featuring caramel-coated Bugles and Honeycomb cereal that’s equal parts nostalgic and addictive.

The bakery also takes dessert to a whole new level, with playful creations like churro cheesecake and Vietnamese coffee tres leches that showcase their inventive approach to baking. Pair your treat with a warm cup of café de olla for the full experience.

Planning a party? They also offer custom orders and large-format cakes in quarter, half, or full sheet sizes. Fan favorites include their Strawberry Shortcake, Chocolate Dobash, and Carrot Cake.

The bakery is open Thursday through Sunday, with hours from 9 AM to 5 PM on Thursdays and Fridays, and 9 AM to 3 PM on weekends. Preorders are available at thewildwhiskbakery.square.site.

Whether you’re a local with a sweet tooth or just cruising through the SGV, The Wild Whisk Bakery is well worth a detour—come hungry, and leave with aloha!

Sweet, salty, and crunchy island-style snack that puts a tropical twist on the classic party mix—a perfectly balanced bite that’s addictively delicious.

Rich and flavorful twist on the classic Latin dessert. An indulgent cake soaked in a blend of three milks infused with bold Vietnamese coffee, giving it a deep, aromatic flavor.

Each week, the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce selects a “Restaurant of the Week” to highlight the many amazing restaurants in our city. For more info, visit AlhambraEats.com.
