Get ready, Alhambra! The beloved Main Street Market is ringing in the summer season with an incredible lineup of entertainment this Sunday, June 1. Best of all? It’s completely FREE for the entire community to enjoy!
As the market’s new summer hours kick in — from 3 pm to 8 pm — you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy all the festivities in the cooler evening hours. The market takes place every first Sunday of the month at Renaissance Plaza, located at 1 E. Main St., Alhambra. Each month features a fresh, exciting theme to keep everyone engaged. June’s theme kicks off just in time for summer fun!
On June 1 at 6 pm, music fans will be treated to the high-energy sounds of Thieves Like Us, a beloved 80’s cover band that will have everyone dancing to classic hits from the decade of neon and big hair. Their dynamic performance promises to be a fun-filled highlight of the evening, perfect to kick off the season in style.
But the musical festivities don’t stop there. The night will feature an impressive lineup of talented performers paying tribute to the iconic 80’s era. Honore will take the stage with an electrifying Prince tribute that will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a music video, while Synergy Girl Group will bring the nostalgic sounds of 80’s hits to life with their signature harmonies. Following them, Czarina Umali and Janice Javier will each serenade the crowd with powerful renditions of classic 80’s covers, capturing the energy and spirit of the era.
Adding to the excitement, Honor Flow Productions will perform live 80’s style hip hop dance tracks, bringing a fresh and energetic twist to the evening’s entertainment. Alongside the live music, DJ is Lord, DJ Ray, DJ Chuck “The Old Soul,” Davida Loca, DJ Ghostbear will spin lively sets, ensuring the dance floor stays lively all night long.
And to add a touch of visual magic, Midnight the Mannequin will be making a special appearance, enchanting spectators with their captivating presence.
