Albert Lew, a resident of Alhambra, has successfully completed the Boston Marathon, achieving the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors Six Star status. With this accomplishment, Lew is believed to be the first person from the Alhambra area to complete all six of these iconic races.
“Crossing that finish line in Boston and knowing I had achieved this incredible goal for my city and communities in our San Gabriel Valley was an amazing feeling,” said Lew. “I’m still processing it.”
He returned home as one of an estimated 0.00025% of the global population who achieved this feat and looks to continue his training, representing this special community pocket of people in Los Angeles.
