Alhambra Council PTA Celebrates Volunteers and School Supporters at the Founders Day Celebration

The Alhambra Unified School District community is invited to the Alhambra Council PTAs (ACPTA) Founders Day Dinner and Awards Celebration on April 11, at the Hilton Los Angeles/San Gabriel. This special event will recognize Honorary Service Award recipients from PTAs across the district and will raise funds for vital student programs.

The evening will feature a dinner, photo booth, silent auctions, and raffles, with proceeds benefiting ACPTA programs, including the Reflections Art Program, scholarships for graduating seniors, and, for the first time, scholarships for eighth graders from each elementary school. Contributions from this event also help ACPTA continue its mission of enriching the educational experience for AUSD students and families.

Superintendent Dr. Denise Jaramillo emphasized the critical role that PTAs play in supporting students and schools: “Parent involvement is the heart of a thriving school community, and our PTAs work tirelessly to create enriching opportunities for students. We are deeply grateful for their dedication, and this celebration is a wonderful way to honor their impact while raising funds to support our students’ futures.”

The event will begin with a no-host bar at 6 pm, followed by dinner and the awards program from 6:30 pm to 10 pm. Tickets are $65 per person and must be purchased in advance through a local PTA, as tickets will not be available at the door.Join the AUSD community in celebrating the dedicated individuals who make a difference in students’ lives while supporting essential programs that benefit young learners.
