In 2003, 85°C Bakery Cafe was founded in Taiwan by Cheng-Hsueh Wu. The first US location opened in 2008 in Irvine, and the franchise has since grown with locations throughout California as well as in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Hawaii.
85°C Bakery Cafe’s Alhambra location is one of the franchise’s oldest. The bakery and cafe serves coffee, tea, cakes, rolls, pies, and more. Fresh bread is baked every hour, with more than 60 varieties inspired by European and Asian baked goods. The bakery case ranges from sweet pastries and cream-filled breads to savory breads and sandwiches.
The handcrafted beverages are made to order. Each coffee is prepared using freshly ground espresso beans, while teas can be customized with toppings like sea salt cream and boba.
85°C Alhambra is open daily, with the bakery turning out fresh batches throughout the day. Popular items can sell out, so an early visit is your best bet for the widest selection.
