Restaurant of the Week (09/15-09/21): Aloha Food Factory

Aloha Food Factory brings a slice of Hawaii to Alhambra with hearty, homestyle dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. Founded by Betty and Ernie Tom 27 years ago, the restaurant has long been a place where families and friends gather for generous portions and authentic flavors. Co-owner Aaron Luong now helps keep the kitchen running smoothly, carrying forward Betty’s vision while adding his own passion and creativity to the menu.

The menu is full of unique Hawaiian favorites that you won’t find elsewhere in town. From savory kalua pork and garlic chicken to fresh poke bowls and tropical sides, each dish is carefully prepared in-house for that mom-and-pop quality. The combination of bold flavors, thoughtful seasoning, and generous portions makes every meal feel like a true Hawaiian feast.

Beyond the food, Aloha Food Factory offers a lively, community-focused experience. Monthly luau shows and collaborations with local organizations bring the spirit of aloha to the restaurant, making it more than just a meal—it’s a celebration of culture, flavor, and connection.
