FEMA opened a new Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Altadena Monday morning at 9 am. Located at 540 W. Woodbury Rd., the new center is open daily from 9 am to 8 pm.
There are currently three DRC locations to assist Californians who experienced damage to their primary home, personal property loss, or have disaster-caused emergency needs related to the wildfires. The other two are located at UCLA Research Park West (10850 West Pico Blvd. 1) and Pasadena City College Community Education Center (3035 East Foothill Blvd.), which are both open daily from 9 am to 8 pm. The last day of operation at the PCC location is Friday, January 31.
At these locations, affected people can apply for disaster relief loans and replace lost documents including birth certificates, death certificates, driver’s licenses, and social security cards.
