Hello, Alhambra! My name is Allison Mayrena, and it’s my privilege to serve as the President of the Downtown Alhambra Business District Association and owner of Vita Cane Alhambra, located at 9 W. Firstly, let’s celebrate the recent renovations at the Regal Movie Theater located in the Renaissance Plaza. The theater has introduced new reclining seats, enhancing the movie-going experience for our community. Comfort meets entertainment as you sink into these luxurious chairs while watching your favorite films. It’s perfect for a cozy date night or a fun outing with friends and family. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this upgraded experience and support our local theaters!
Additionally, we are excited to announce the launch of the new Alhambra Main Street Market. This vibrant monthly marketplace brings together local artisans and craft vendors, making it easier for our community to shop small and enjoy a great Sunday in Downtown Alhambra. The Alhambra Main Street Market is held every first Sunday of the month at the Renaissance Plaza from 11 am to 4 pm. The market not only supports local businesses but also strengthens our community’s bond through shared experiences and the joy of supporting one another. Make it a monthly ritual — explore the stalls, discover new favorites, and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
