To wrap up National Fire Prevention Week, the Alhambra Fire Department welcomes all Alhambra residents and neighbors to its Open House & Pancake Breakfast, held from 9 am to 12 pm at Station 71 (301 N First Street) on Saturday, October 12.
The Open House & Pancake Breakfast offers residents the chance to enjoy a free pancake breakfast, engaging demonstrations, station tours, and more at the fire station. The station will have fire vehicles on display, equipment demonstrations, and a visit from Sparky the Fire Dog. The theme for this year’s National Fire Prevention Week is “Smoke Detectors: Make them work for you.”
While the event is free to enjoy, the Alhambra Firefighters’ Association will accept donations to benefit the VCPFA Charity Fund, which helps first responders battling cancer.
