One of the highlights of the Alhambra Unified School District’s annual All-Staff Opening Meeting is the celebration of the Employees of the Year. This year, the district honored three exceptional individuals: Jesus Murillo, custodian at Fremont School; Nelson Santos, Director of Facilities and Transportation; and Page Phillips, drama teacher at Mark Keppel High School. Each of these outstanding employees received a commemorative bell, symbolizing both their remarkable service and the high esteem in which they are held by their colleagues. As part of the celebration, tribute videos created by their peers and supervisors were shown, expressing heartfelt appreciation for their hard work and setting a tone of gratitude and inspiration for the school year ahead.
