Alhambra High School’s fall production of CLUE delighted audiences in November, showcasing the timeless intrigue and humor of the classic board game-turned-movie-turned-play. Unique to this year’s production was a dual cast format: the Blue Cast and the Gold Cast, paying homage to the school’s colors.
Students from both casts brought their unique interpretations to the roles of iconic characters like Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Colonel Mustard, and Mrs. Peacock. The production team, under the leadership of Rachel Snow (AHS Director of Drama & Technical Theater), worked tirelessly to create a high-quality entertaining experience, complete with stunning costumes and a cleverly designed set that brought the mansion’s mysteries to life.
The dual cast system allowed even more students to participate and shine, making CLUE a memorable production for performers and audiences alike. Next up for the drama department will be their spring musical, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street by Stephen Sondheim. This thrilling and darkly comedic tale of revenge and redemption will showcase the students’ musical and dramatic talents in an unforgettable performance.
