Rain Gardens Biking Tour in San Gabriel and Alhambra

Join us for a morning biking tour of five recently completed residential rain-capture gardens.
Now six months established, these gardens showcase the beauty and function of California native plants paired with rain-capture swales designed to slow, spread, and sink stormwater on-site. Along the way, our expert horticulturalists will share insights into plant selection, garden design, and water-wise techniques—and they’ll be happy to answer any and all of your gardening questions.
The route is about 9 miles, all flat. This is a bring-your-own-bike ride — we don’t have loaners, so you’ll need a bike you’re comfortable riding in traffic, plus a helmet and water. E-bikes welcome.
