Celebrating National Senior Citizens Day with a meal? Pop’s Mediterranean is offering 15% off for customers 60 and older on Friday, August 21, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
2. Discover Your Passion at the Alhambra Library – 101 S 1st St, Alhambra
The Alhambra Library is hosting a free workshop on National Senior Citizens Day from 1 to 2 p.m. called “Discover Your Passion. The event will include light refreshments, giving attendees a chance to learn something new while connecting with others. There will also be a free gift available at the circulation desk.
3. Luau at Joslyn Adult Recreation Center – 210 N Chapel Ave, Alhambra
Celebrate into the evening at the Joslyn Adult Recreation Center, where a luau will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Admission is $10 per person, making it an opportunity to wrap up the day with an evening of food, fun and festivities.
