The Alhambra community is invited to a free hands-on event on Tuesday\, November 19\, from 11 AM to 5 PM at Emery Park (2709 Mimosa St.)\, to learn how to check-out and return books and games from Alhambra’s new Vending Library and Locker of Things. \n\n\n\nAlhambra Library staff will be on-site to guide visitors through the easy steps of checking out books\, games\, and other items from the new vending machine and lockers. Visitors can sign up for library cards on the spot\, so they’re ready to check out materials right away. Plus\, there’s plenty for the whole family to enjoy—craft stations\, outdoor games\, and engaging activities will keep everyone entertained! \n\n\n\nHighlights of the day also include balloon twisting and face painting by local artists\, perfect for kids and adults alike.
