Westminster et al: Paving the Path to EducationalJustice and Racial Equality with Daniel G. Solorzano\, Ph. D.\, Keynote Speaker and Catherine Murphy\, Documentary Film Maker\, Special Guest Speaker. Mendez et al v. Westminster School District et al. successfully ended de jure segregation in California. Filed on behalf of 5\,000 students of Mexican descent\, this class action lawsuit challenged institutionalized race discrimination in the 1940s and battled for the constitutional rights of children across the nation.
